This blog post is coming from a girl with mad oily hair after 1 day without washing her hair wanting to put dry shampoo to the test in hopes there will be SOMETHING… ANYTHING out there that can save this greasy head.
If you were born with a oily hair type, you’ll know the struggles of practically having to wash your hair every night no- if -ands or buts. And scheduling your wash days to match your going out days doesn’t exist in our books because wash days are every day.
If you feel this pain, keep reading. I know dry shampoo has been out for a while now but honestly I haven’t found one that I thought really worked for me. I tried the annoying shaker bottles ones where it looks like your throwing baby powder onto your head to the classic ones in a spray can bottle from different brands… and well I still felt and looked like a walking grease machine after using them.
I decided to give Batiste Dry Shampoo a go and found some amazing results. If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, you can find them at the Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada and I guess you can consider this one of the lower end brands compared to the fancy dancy brands you see at spas BUT DON’T BE FOOLED. Batiste Dry Shampoo is honestly one of my hair saviours right now. So the thing with my hair is that the most noticeable part that shows how greasy my hair is are my roots while my ends tend to look completely normal. So I’ve been spraying this Dry Shampoo on my roots in sections and kinda just lightly running my fingers through the spots I sprayed to even it out and volia! You got yourself some fresh hair!!
The dry shampoo can last me a good 3 days without washing my hair which is super blessed to me because I use to wash my hair literally every single night. They also come in different scents – my personal favourites are the clean & classic original and the tropical one! This is a great product I would definitely recommend using if you want a good dry shampoo for your hair and affordable compared to the other brands out there 🙂 Hope you enjoyed this review guys and send me a message if you have any products you wanted to chat about!
